Carefully selected products, several of which have no mechanical reason to exist.
About PROBABLY FITS™
Keeping America questionably roadworthy.
We are a fictional nationwide auto-parts retailer committed to providing premium automotive products, performance upgrades, service-counter confidence, and fitment information accurate enough to justify the word “probably.”
Strong enough for green. Weak enough for the company name.
A staffing figure maintained with remarkable consistency.
To the joke, the design, and keeping the parts counter open.
The Company Story
It started with one simple question: “Do people still ask for blinker fluid?”
The answer was yes. The business plan became irresponsible almost immediately.
Built around the parts-counter experience.
PROBABLY FITS™ began as an idea: what if a completely believable national auto-parts retailer sold the exact products every mechanic has used to mess with the new guy?
Instead of turning the joke into a cartoon store, we treated it seriously. Industrial shelving. Product numbers. Vehicle selectors. Weekly deals. Performance departments. Pickup options. Fitment confidence. Store counters.
The result is a retailer that looks convincing right up until somebody notices the Heavy-Duty Muffler Bearings, Spark Plug Recharge Kit, or Bluetooth Driveshaft.
That balance became the whole idea: 90% believable auto-parts store, 10% absolute mechanical nonsense.
Company Values
Four principles guiding every questionable decision.
None have been reviewed by an automotive engineer. This is becoming a pattern.
Look Legit
The joke works best when the store feels like somewhere you could genuinely stop after work for brake pads and windshield fluid.
Retail StandardCommit Completely
Every ridiculous product receives a proper SKU, price, department, feature list, and undeserved level of confidence.
No Half MeasuresKeep It Usable
Satire does not excuse bad navigation, unreadable layouts, broken interactions, or interfaces designed like a software dashboard.
Customer-ish FirstAdmit the Nonsense
Clear demo and safety notices separate the fictional products from actual automotive repair guidance.
Reality Still ExistsCompany Milestones
A proud history of escalating commitment.
The First Blinker Fluid Order
