This demonstration storefront runs primarily in your browser. It does not include a live customer account system, payment processor, order database, analytics platform, advertising network, or secret warehouse surveillance department.
Privacy overview.
PROBABLY FITS™ is presented here as a fictional static automotive storefront demonstration. The included HTML, CSS, and JavaScript create the appearance and interaction patterns of an online parts retailer, but the demonstration does not operate as a real ecommerce business.
By default, the template does not include server-side customer accounts, an order database, live payment processing, marketing automation, advertising tracking, customer profiling, or a production analytics system.
Plain-English Version
You can add imaginary parts to a demo cart. Your browser remembers that cart. Nobody at a fictional warehouse receives it.
Information this demo uses.
The demonstration uses a very limited amount of information to make frontend interactions work. Most of that information exists only temporarily in the current browser session.
Vehicle Selections
Year, make, model, and engine selections used on the fitment page are processed by page JavaScript for demonstration results.
Form Entries
Help searches, demo order numbers, example email addresses, store searches, and calculator selections are used only for the visible frontend interaction.
Payment Information
The demo does not request, collect, transmit, process, or store credit-card or bank information.
Real Accounts
Account buttons are demonstrations. No passwords, customer profiles, saved addresses, or authentication records are created.
Store & Customer Data
Store locations, order statuses, reviews, customers, employees, inventory records, and company data displayed throughout the site are fictional.
Browser storage.
The site's shared JavaScript uses localStorage so the demonstration cart can remain available after navigating between pages or refreshing the browser.
localStorage is browser-based storage. The information remains on the device and browser where it was created unless the browser, the user, or site JavaScript removes it.

No Advertising Cookie System
The default template does not include advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, retargeting pixels, or a consent-management platform.
Demo forms and interactions.
Several pages contain forms and controls designed to demonstrate how a finished storefront could behave. These include vehicle selection, order tracking, store search, Help Center search, newsletter-style interactions, promotional codes, and performance calculations.
Order Tracking
The Help Center accepts a demonstration order number and email address to generate a fictional tracking result. The included page JavaScript does not send those entries to an order server or customer database.
Store Search
The store locator accepts example city or ZIP information and displays fictional store content. The default implementation does not transmit the entered location to a real locator service.
Account Buttons
Account actions are informational frontend demonstrations. No authentication request is sent, and no login credentials should be entered because no real login system is provided.
Search Fields
The primary product search uses ordinary page navigation and may place a search term in the page URL as a query parameter. The default static template does not send that query into a customer-profile or advertising system.
Third-party services.
The default PROBABLY FITS™ demonstration does not require a customer-account provider, payment gateway, advertising platform, email marketing provider, analytics provider, or live store-location API.
If a future site owner modifies this template to connect third-party services, those services may process information independently under their own privacy practices.
Important Customization Requirement
Adding payment processing, analytics, advertising, contact forms, customer accounts, email subscriptions, maps, chat widgets, or other external services changes the privacy behavior of the site and requires this policy to be updated.
Your browser controls.
Because the included persistent demo data is stored locally in your browser, you can control or remove it through browser storage settings.
Clearing site data, localStorage, or browsing data for this site will remove the demonstration cart from that browser.

Children's information.
This demonstration is not designed as a service directed toward children and does not intentionally include account registration, customer profiling, or information-collection features intended for children.
Because no production account or backend data system is included, the default template does not maintain a customer database containing children's personal information.
Changes to this policy.
This privacy page should be reviewed whenever the site's functionality changes. Connecting new services or collecting new categories of information can make portions of this demonstration policy inaccurate.
A production site owner should update the effective date and revise the policy whenever material privacy practices change.

This page describes the default demonstration behavior of the PROBABLY FITS™ template. It is not a substitute for a privacy policy tailored to a real business's technology, location, customers, legal obligations, service providers, and data practices.
Before launching a customized production website, the site owner should review what information the finished site actually collects, how it is used, where it is stored, which service providers receive it, how long it is retained, and what privacy rights or disclosures apply.
Parts Counter Translation
If you connect real stuff, write a real privacy policy about the real stuff. “Probably” is a branding strategy, not a privacy-compliance strategy.
