Dispatch

Tell us what happened. We have probably seen worse.

Call, email, or submit a damage report. Technical terminology is optional. “Something is making a noise now” is perfectly acceptable.

Before contacting us

Stop making it worse. Then call us.

  1. 01

    Put the tool down

Especially if the current plan begins with “maybe if I tighten it a little more.”

  2. 02

    Make the area safe

Keep people away from hazards. Shut off water, power, or equipment only when it is safe and appropriate to do so.

  3. 03

    Take a few photos

Wide shot, close-up, surrounding area, and any component currently occupying a location where components do not traditionally belong.

  4. 04

    Tell us the truth

We cannot diagnose the project if the story begins three steps after someone removed the important part.

Dispatch note

“I don't know what happened” is still useful information.

Dispatch questions

Before you send the seventeen photos.

A few answers that may save you from writing the world's longest text message.

01

Should I call or use the form?

For active emergencies, call. For normal repairs, either works. For something involving smoke, please stop typing.

02

Can I send photos?

Yes. A real contractor can connect this demo site to email, a form service, or a backend that supports uploads.

03

How much detail do you need?

Enough to understand the situation. A full confession can wait until the technician arrives.

04

Do I need measurements?

Helpful, but not required. “Roughly the size of the hole I accidentally made” is a surprisingly common starting point.

05

What if I don't know what broke?

That's why diagnosis exists. Tell us what changed, what you noticed, and what happened immediately beforehand.

06

Will somebody actually contact me?

On this demo site, no. The included form is intentionally non-functional until connected to the buyer's preferred form service or backend.
