Repair department / service ticket 31-C

We fix what happened. We don't need the whole story.

From basic flats and adjustments to full drivetrain work, brake service, wheel repairs, and the mysterious sound that disappears the second a mechanic walks over.

01

Basic adjustment

Shifting, brakes, bolts, alignment, and the little things currently irritating you.

From $35
02

Standard tune-up

Inspection, adjustment, lubrication, safety check, and less negotiation from the bike.

From $95
03

Full service

Deeper maintenance for bikes that have accumulated both miles and evidence.

From $185
04

“That seems bad.”

Bring it in. We would like to see what inspired you to phrase it that way.

Assessment

The stuff that requires more than an Allen key.

Why this shop / service tag 22-B

Good mechanics. Normal explanations.

Bike service should be clear, practical, and considerably less mysterious than the noise that brought you here.

01

Honest assessments

We tell you what needs attention, what can wait, and what is absolutely not the catastrophic event you Googled.

02

Experienced mechanics

Real people who work on real bikes and understand that “the back thing” probably means the derailleur.

03

Practical turnaround

Clear expectations before the work starts. No mysterious six-week disappearance.

Since 2014

Local shop / actual humans

Built around bikes. Not sales scripts.

GEAR ISSUES™ started with a repair stand, too many tools, and the unreasonable belief that bike shops could explain repairs without making customers feel like they accidentally enrolled in engineering school.

Today we sell bikes, service everything from commuters to trail rigs, work on e-bikes, fit riders properly, and continue translating “the little metal thing” into useful information.

Our story

Shop reports / suspiciously nice things people said

Apparently we did okay.

★★★★★
“They fixed the shifting problem in one visit and somehow explained what was wrong without making me feel stupid.”
Jamie R. Commuter / chronic drivetrain neglect
★★★★★
“I came in convinced I needed a new derailleur. I needed a cable adjustment. They could have sold me more and didn't.”
Morgan T. Road rider / recovering Googler
★★★★★
“My e-bike stopped making the noise. Unfortunately now I can hear myself breathing on hills again.”
Alex P. E-bike rider / betrayed by cardio

Shop visit / preferably before it gets worse

Bring the bike. We'll take it from there.

Walk-ins are welcome for quick assessments. For larger repairs, tune-ups, fitting, or e-bike work, booking ahead is usually smarter.
