This Privacy Policy explains what information
Template Forge receives, why it is used, when it may
be shared, how long it may be retained, and how you can
submit a privacy request.
Template Forge collects the information reasonably
needed to process orders, verify payments, deliver protected
files, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and
maintain the website. Payment credentials are processed by
PayPal rather than stored by this website.
Effective date: August 4, 2026
Quick summaryFour principles behind this policy.
01
Collect for a purpose
Information is used for orders, delivery, support,
security, administration, and legal obligations.
02
PayPal handles payment data
This website does not intentionally store complete
card numbers or PayPal account passwords.
03
Limit access and sharing
Information is disclosed only when needed for
operations, service providers, protection, or law.
04
Provide a contact path
You may ask questions or request access, correction,
or deletion where applicable.
This summary is provided for convenience. The complete
Privacy Policy below describes the current practices in
greater detail.
01
Scope of this Privacy Policy
This policy applies to information handled through the
Template Forge public storefront, administrator
tools, contact form, checkout workflow, order records,
payment verification, and protected-download system.
It does not replace the privacy policies of PayPal,
hosting providers, email applications, browsers, or
other external services. Those services determine their
own privacy practices for information they independently
receive.
02
Information the storefront may collect
The information received depends on how you interact
with the website. Categories may include:
Contact details: your name, email
address, subject, optional order number, and the
message you submit through the contact form.
Order details: order number,
customer name and email, product title, quantity,
price, currency, discount, tax, order status, and
relevant timestamps.
Payment references: payment
provider, processing mode, PayPal order or capture
identifiers, provider statuses, event identifiers,
failure details, and refund information.
Download details: protected token
records, token status, expiration, allowed attempts,
download count, and related order or product data.
Technical information: browser or
device user-agent information, session identifiers,
timestamps, requested pages, error reports, IP
addresses that may appear in ordinary server or
security logs, and similar diagnostic information.
Do not send sensitive credentials.
Never place a PayPal password, complete payment
card number, private API secret, government
identifier, or unrelated sensitive information
inside a contact message.
03
Orders, payments, and PayPal
Premium checkout is processed through PayPal when that
payment option is enabled. PayPal may collect payment,
identity, device, fraud-prevention, and transaction
information under its own agreements and privacy
statement.
Template Forge receives and stores the order and
transaction references reasonably needed to verify
payment, reconcile records, prevent fraud, provide
support, process a permitted refund, and issue protected
download access. This website does not intentionally
store your complete payment card number, card security
code, or PayPal account password.
PayPal acts independently when it determines how to
process information within its payment services. Review
the PayPal Privacy Statement before completing checkout.
When you submit the contact form, the storefront stores
the name, email address, selected subject, optional order
number, message, browser user-agent information, status,
and submission timestamps needed to review and manage
the request.
Contact information is used to respond, investigate an
order or download issue, document support history,
protect the storefront from abuse, and improve relevant
instructions or product information.
A reply may be sent through the administrator's email
application. That email provider will handle the message
under its own privacy and security practices.
05
Protected downloads, security events, and logs
Protected-download records may be used to confirm that a
valid order or free product is eligible for delivery,
enforce expiration or attempt limits, count downloads,
investigate access failures, and detect unusual use.
The web server, application, database, hosting service,
payment integration, and security tools may create logs
containing timestamps, requested resources, IP
addresses, browser details, errors, event identifiers,
and other technical information. These records may be
used to operate, diagnose, secure, and audit the website.
06
Cookies, sessions, and similar technologies
The website may use a first-party session cookie or
similar session mechanism to keep pages functioning,
protect forms with anti-forgery tokens, display
temporary success or error messages, apply short
submission limits, and maintain administrator login
security.
Session information is generally temporary, but your
browser settings determine how cookies are stored or
cleared. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent
forms, checkout, downloads, or administrator features
from working correctly.
PayPal and other external services loaded during
checkout may use their own cookies, device information,
or similar technologies under their separate policies.
07
How information is used
Information may be used to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the storefront.
Display products and process free downloads.
Initiate, verify, reconcile, and document orders.
Create and protect digital-download access.
Respond to product, payment, license, and support questions.
Detect fraud, spam, abuse, security threats, and technical errors.
Maintain accounting, transaction, tax, refund, and operational records.
Enforce terms, licenses, security controls, and legal rights.
Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, court, or law-enforcement obligations.
At the effective date of this policy, the storefront
does not use contact messages or order records to run a
program that sells personal information for money or
rents customer lists to third parties.
08
When information may be shared
Information may be disclosed only as reasonably needed
for the purposes described in this policy, including:
Payment providers: PayPal and
payment-network participants involved in checkout,
payment verification, fraud prevention, refunds, or
disputes.
Technology providers: hosting,
database, security, backup, email, domain, and other
service providers supporting the website.
Professional advisers: accountants,
legal advisers, insurers, or technical specialists
when access is reasonably necessary.
Legal and safety purposes: courts,
regulators, law-enforcement agencies, payment
investigators, or affected parties when disclosure
is required or reasonably necessary to comply with
law, protect rights, prevent harm, investigate fraud,
or defend a claim.
Business transition: a successor,
buyer, or adviser involved in a legitimate sale,
transfer, restructuring, or continuation of the
storefront, subject to appropriate protections.
Service providers receive only the access reasonably
needed for their role and remain subject to their own
contractual and legal obligations.
09
Data retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed
to provide the service, preserve order and license
history, support protected downloads, answer inquiries,
prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain security, and
satisfy accounting, tax, contractual, or legal
obligations.
Retention periods can differ by record type. For example,
transaction and refund records may need to remain longer
than an ordinary support message. Backup copies and logs
may also remain for a limited period after active records
are removed.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may
be deleted, anonymized, aggregated, overwritten through
routine system operations, or retained only when an
applicable obligation or legitimate protection need
requires it.
10
Security safeguards and limitations
Template Forge uses administrative, technical, and
operational measures intended to protect information,
including authenticated administrator access,
anti-forgery protection, prepared database statements,
protected file storage, download controls, validation,
logging, and payment verification.
Access should be limited to the store owner and
authorized service providers with a legitimate need.
Systems, software, credentials, backups, hosting, and
integrations should be maintained and updated as the
storefront changes.
No website, network, database, email system, or internet
transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Therefore, absolute security, uninterrupted operation,
and prevention of every unauthorized event cannot be
promised.
11
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you
may have rights to ask about personal information,
request access or correction, request deletion, object
to or restrict certain processing, or receive other
legally required information.
Submit a request through the contact page and include
enough information to identify the relevant message,
order, or transaction. Verification may be required
before a request is completed. Do not send payment
passwords or complete card information.
A request may be limited or denied when retaining
information is reasonably necessary to complete a
transaction, provide a requested service, maintain
security, prevent fraud, preserve accounting or tax
records, establish or defend legal claims, comply with
law, or protect another person's rights.
You may also control cookies through your browser and
contact PayPal directly regarding information PayPal
independently handles.
12
Children's privacy
The storefront is intended for a general business and
design audience and is not directed to children under
13. Template Forge does not knowingly request
personal information from a child under 13.
If you believe a child submitted personal information
without appropriate authorization, contact the
storefront so the situation can be reviewed and the
information removed when appropriate.
13
External websites and services
Product pages, documentation, live previews, PayPal
checkout, fonts, hosting resources, or other features
may link to or load services operated by third parties.
Their collection and use of information are controlled
by their own privacy policies and agreements.
A link does not mean Template Forge controls the
external service's privacy, security, availability, or
content. Review the relevant third-party terms before
providing information or using that service.
14
Policy changes and privacy contact
This Privacy Policy may be updated when products,
payment methods, service providers, website features,
security practices, legal requirements, or operational
needs change. The effective date identifies the current
published version.
Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable
law requires another approach. Continued use of the
website after an update is subject to the current policy,
but changes do not retroactively authorize materially
different handling that would require separate notice or
consent under applicable law.

Identify the relevant message, order, or product
and explain what information you want reviewed.
