Digital sales are final.
Real problems still get solutions.
Because downloadable templates cannot be physically
returned, purchases are generally non-refundable after
delivery or download access. When a verified product
problem exists, Template Forge will work toward a
corrected file, exchange, or store credit.
Downloadable products are delivered immediately or through
protected access and cannot be returned in the same manner
as physical merchandise. For that reason, completed digital
purchases are generally final. Genuine defects, missing
files, and materially incorrect products will be reviewed
and addressed through the remedies described below.
Effective date: August 4, 2026
Remedy orderHow verified product problems are handled.
01
Investigate
Confirm the order, product version, environment,
files, and reported error.
02
Correct
Provide instructions, missing files, a repaired
archive, or an updated replacement when possible.
03
Exchange or credit
Offer a reasonable replacement product or store
credit when the original cannot be corrected.
04
Refund only when required
Cash refunds are reserved for applicable legal
requirements or cases with no workable remedy.
The complete policy below controls. Eligibility depends on
the order record, product description, reported issue,
available evidence, and applicable law.
01
Digital products are generally final sale
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all
purchases of downloadable templates and related digital
files from Template Forge are final and
non-refundable once any of the following occurs:
Payment is completed and protected download access is issued.
A product archive or any included file is downloaded.
A free-to-premium or replacement delivery is provided.
The customer otherwise receives access to the purchased digital content.
A digital file cannot be physically returned, and access
cannot be reliably undone after delivery. This final-sale
rule is a material condition of every premium purchase.
Review the product page before paying.
Confirm the platform, version, requirements,
included files, page count, features, preview,
license, and any known limitations.
02
Customer responsibilities before purchasing
Before completing checkout, the customer is responsible
for reviewing the current product page and deciding
whether the template is suitable for the intended
project.
This includes checking:
The supported platform, software, runtime, or content-management system.
The stated version and technical requirements.
The included pages, components, source files, documentation, and assets.
Whether third-party software, hosting, fonts, plugins, accounts, licenses, or services are required.
The live preview or screenshots when available.
The product description, limitations, license terms, and customization expectations.
Questions should be submitted before purchase when a
requirement or included feature is unclear.
03
Situations that do not qualify for a refund
To the extent permitted by law, a refund, exchange, or
store credit will not ordinarily be provided because:
The customer changed their mind or no longer wants the product.
The product was purchased accidentally or the wrong template was selected.
The customer did not read the description, requirements, license, documentation, or limitations.
The customer lacks the software, hosting, technical knowledge, design skill, or development experience needed to use or customize the template.
The customer's environment, code changes, plugins, extensions, server settings, or third-party services are incompatible when the relevant requirements were accurately disclosed.
The customer expected a feature, service, customization, installation, content, image, font, plugin, or integration that was not advertised as included.
The customer decides not to use the downloaded product or the related project is cancelled.
The same or another product later becomes free, discounted, bundled, updated, or offered under a different promotion.
A third-party platform, browser, API, plugin, provider, or service changes after purchase.
The customer cannot download because of their own network, browser, device, storage, security software, email, or account configuration and a working alternative delivery method is available.
The customer requests custom work, installation, migration, or technical services not included with the product.
Unsupported modification of the files, removal of
required components, or use outside the documented
environment may also make the reported problem
ineligible for a remedy.
04
Problems that may qualify for review
A remedy may be considered when the customer provides
reasonable evidence that:
The delivered ZIP archive is corrupted and a fresh download does not resolve the issue.
A file specifically listed as included is missing from the package.
The purchased archive contains the wrong product.
A reproducible defect prevents a core advertised feature from working in the documented environment.
The delivered product materially differs from its current description or preview.
Protected access was never successfully provided despite a verified completed payment.
A duplicate charge occurred for the same intended purchase.
Minor visual differences, subjective dissatisfaction,
customization preferences, third-party limitations, or
issues caused by an unsupported environment are not
considered product defects.
05
Available remedies for a verified problem
When Template Forge verifies an eligible product
problem, the preferred remedy will be selected based on
the nature of the issue. Remedies may include:
Troubleshooting instructions or reasonable technical
support for the documented product environment.
A new protected download link or fresh copy of the
original archive.
Missing files, corrected files, a patch, or an
updated replacement archive.
An exchange for another available template of
reasonably comparable value.
Store credit based on the amount actually paid for
the affected product.
The customer must allow a reasonable opportunity to
investigate and provide one of these remedies before
requesting payment reversal through a third party.
A cash refund may be considered only when required by
applicable law or when Template Forge confirms a
qualifying problem and cannot provide a working
correction, replacement, reasonable exchange, or store
credit remedy.
06
How to report a product problem
Report a suspected defect as soon as reasonably possible
and preferably within
14 calendar
days after purchase. A delayed report may make it harder
to verify the original product version, environment, and
delivery record.
Submit the request through the contact page and include:
The order number and purchasing email address.
The exact product name and version.
The affected file, page, component, or advertised feature.
The operating system, browser, software, hosting, PHP, database, or platform version relevant to the issue.
The exact error message and the steps that reproduce the problem.
Relevant screenshots or a concise description of the expected and actual result.
Whether the original archive was modified before the problem occurred.
Never send passwords, complete payment-card details,
PayPal credentials, private API secrets, or unrelated
personal information.
Template Forge may request additional reasonable
diagnostic details or ask the customer to test a clean,
unmodified copy in the documented environment.
07
Duplicate payments and unauthorized transactions
A verified duplicate charge for the same intended order
may be reversed to the original payment method when the
duplicate transaction is confirmed and no separate
product entitlement was intended.
A customer who believes a PayPal transaction was
unauthorized should promptly secure the PayPal account
and report the transaction through PayPal's official
Resolution Center. Template Forge may cooperate
with reasonable payment-provider investigations and
preserve relevant order, delivery, login, and event
records.
08
Store credit and exchanges
Store credit is a discretionary digital remedy issued by
Template Forge for use toward eligible products in
the storefront. Unless required by law or expressly
stated otherwise when issued, store credit:
Has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash.
May not be transferred, resold, auctioned, or combined with unauthorized accounts.
Applies only to products made available by Template Forge.
May be reduced by the value of any replacement or exchange selected.
May be refused or revoked when obtained through fraud, abuse, chargeback manipulation, or policy violation.
For an approved exchange, the customer may be required
to pay the price difference for a higher-priced product.
Any treatment of a lower-priced replacement or unused
balance will be communicated when the exchange is
approved.
09
Effect of an exchange, credit, or refund
When a remedy replaces or reverses a purchase,
Template Forge may deactivate the original
protected-download token and end further access to the
affected product.
If a cash refund is issued, the license for the refunded
product ends unless applicable law requires otherwise.
The customer must stop using the refunded files and
delete copies under their control, including copies in
active projects, development environments, archives, and
shared storage.
An exchange transfers the applicable purchase
entitlement to the replacement product. It does not
create a license to keep using both products unless
Template Forge expressly authorizes that outcome in
writing.
10
PayPal claims, chargebacks, and payment disputes
PayPal and card issuers maintain their own claim,
chargeback, unauthorized-transaction, and purchase
protection processes. Their eligibility requirements,
deadlines, evidence standards, exclusions, and decisions
are controlled by their own agreements.
This policy does not prevent a customer from exercising
rights available through PayPal or a card issuer.
However, filing a dispute does not automatically prove
that the product was defective or that a refund is owed
by Template Forge.
The storefront may provide PayPal or another payment
provider with product descriptions, order records,
transaction identifiers, protected-delivery records,
download activity, support correspondence, license
terms, and other relevant evidence.
Access to a disputed product may be suspended while the
matter is investigated. Fraudulent disputes, abusive
chargebacks, or knowingly false claims may result in
termination of access and other lawful protective action.
11
Applicable law and non-waivable rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, limits, or
waives a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully
be excluded, limited, or waived.
When applicable law requires a cash refund, cancellation
right, repair, replacement, disclosure, or other remedy,
that requirement controls over any conflicting part of
this policy.
The terms "final sale," "non-refundable," "store credit,"
and "exchange" apply only to the extent permitted by the
law governing the transaction.
12
Policy changes and contact
This policy may be updated when products, delivery
methods, payment services, store-credit practices,
support procedures, legal requirements, or business
operations change. The effective date identifies the
current published version.
The policy in effect when an order is completed will
generally govern that purchase, except where a later
change is legally required or more favorable to the
customer.
